To improve traffic and revenue for large organisations, enterprise SEO marketing requires both high-level and granular-level strategies. In our audit of the client’s web presence, we focused on meta titles and description / CTR optimisation, content strategy, backlinks, and digital outreach. Rather than changing the existing search engine optimisation, I told the client to invest in a year-long content strategy, pillar content, and backlink campaign.
Over the course of a year, the client ranked 806 keywords/phrases in the top ten, providing blanket visibility within the industry sector. Furthermore, our optimisation of the meta descriptions and titles improved the clickthrough rate from 0.8% to 9.4% across all keywords. The top searches had an average clickthrough of 28%.
By 24 months the client had 3420 relevant keywords and phrases generating 57,000 visitors per month.
